Who may use Vol Hoops

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or participate on Vol Hoops. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for safeguarding your password and account. Do not share your account or impersonate another person.

Community standards

Use Vol Hoops respectfully and lawfully. Follow the Board Guidelines. Do not post unlawful, threatening, hateful, harassing, deceptive, sexually exploitative, infringing, spammy, dangerous, or otherwise harmful content. Do not publish private information without permission, facilitate wrongdoing, misrepresent your identity or affiliation, disrupt the site, attempt unauthorized access, or scrape or automate the site in a way that harms Vol Hoops or its users.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting it on Vol Hoops, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, promote, moderate, and improve the site and its community features. This license ends when your content is removed from public display, except for reasonable backups, legal obligations, moderation or security records, and content already shared by others.

You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the rights needed to submit it. If you believe content infringes your rights, please use the Contact page and include enough detail for us to evaluate the report.

Moderation and advertising eligibility

We may review, edit, restrict, hide, remove, or preserve content; limit features; suspend accounts; or take other reasonable action when we believe it is necessary to protect the community, enforce these Terms or the Board Guidelines, comply with law, maintain the site, or keep pages eligible for advertising and distribution. We are not required to monitor every post, and our moderation decisions do not create an obligation to act in every instance.

Advertising and third-party services

Vol Hoops may display advertising and use third-party services for hosting, analytics, security, email delivery, embedded media, and other site functions. Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized as permitted by applicable law and user choices. Third parties control their own services and privacy practices, and use of those services may be subject to additional terms or policies.

Site content and third parties

Vol Hoops branding, design, and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Do not use them outside normal site use without permission. The site may link to third-party sites, services, advertisements, or embeds. Those parties control their own content and policies; Vol Hoops is not responsible for them.

Disclaimers and limits

Vol Hoops is an independent fan community and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the University of Tennessee. Community posts, rumors, scores, commentary, and other material may be incomplete or inaccurate and are provided for general discussion only. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vol Hoops will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as Vol Hoops evolves. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised Terms. Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Contact page.
