Vol Hoops was created by Vol fans, for Vol fans. It is an independent Tennessee basketball publication and fan community covering Tennessee men's basketball, Lady Vols basketball, recruiting, the SEC, and the wider college game. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the University of Tennessee.
What Vol Hoops adds
Vol Hoops often begins with developments that are already public, then adds Tennessee-specific analysis: what a move means for the roster, rotation, recruiting strategy, matchups, season outlook, or the fan experience. The goal is not to repackage somebody else's story. The goal is to give Tennessee fans useful context, judgment, perspective, and original commentary.

Vol Hoops was created as a publication and community for Tennessee basketball fans. Articles credited to Vol Hoops Staff Writer use the publication's institutional byline, keeping the focus on Vol Hoops and its readers rather than on a personal-author brand.
